Faith Without Borders
Oceans – Written by Joel Houston / Matt Crocker / Salomon Lighthelm
Sometimes our faith gets limited to the chair we sit in. We know that the chair will hold us up. Therefore, we have no problem sitting down and having the “faith” that we won’t fall.
Do you ever have faith for bigger things? Not requests or prayers for bigger things but actually faith knowing God will bring you through. Peter had that faith and walked on water. The woman who touched the hem of Jesus’ robe, and was healed had it.
I encourage you to have faith like that, or like the father of the boy who had the spirit of seizures.
The father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” Mark 9:24
Ask God to increase your faith! Ask Him to take you out of your comfort! Pray for Him to take you places in your walk that will stretch your faith and deepen your relationship with Him. Pray that He would pour out His Spirit on you, and as you keep your eyes on Him, He will lead you into deeper into His presence.
We have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.
Ephesians 3:12
You call me out upon the waters. The great unknown, where feet may fail. And there I find you in the mystery. In oceans deep, my faith will stand
And I will call upon Your name. And keep my eyes above the waves. When oceans rise, My soul will rest in Your embrace. For I am Yours and You are mine.
Your grace abounds in deepest waters. Your sovereign hand will be my guide. Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me. You’ve never failed and You won’t start now.
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders. Let me walk upon the water. Wherever You would call me. Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander. And my faith will be made stronger. In the presence of my Savior.
